Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler- Video

Shane: I'm Shane from etrailer.com. Today you're gonna be taking a look at, I'm going walk you through the installation, on the Draw-Tite Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler. This hitch is going to allow you to move cargo out from inside of the vehicle to give you more room for your passengers, whether the cargo is being put on a cargo carrier or a trailer.As you'll notice, you can see a little bit of this hitch off the bottom of our bumper. However, it's not so much that it's going to take away from the look of the vehicle. Now this has got contoured edges on our plates here. It's going to fit nicely with the contour of the vehicle, again, maintaining a nice clean look on the back. more

Curt Trailer Hitch installation - 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler- Video

Today you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to walk you through the installation on the Curt Class III trailer hitch receiver on our 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler.Hitch is going to be nice for getting cargo out of the interior of your vehicle to make more room for your passengers, whether that is to be putting the cargo on a cargo basket or carrier, or in a trailer. It's going to be a Class III hitch, 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. We're going to have a reinforced collar to give us a little extra stability there. Our hitch pin hole is going to be 5/8-inch in diameter. It's going to take a standard 5/8 hitch pin. more

The only thing we can really see is the receiver tubes. So, it's really going to maintain a nice, clean look on the back of the vehicle.It's going to give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. There's a reinforced collar to give us a little extra stability there. Our hitch pin hole is going to be 5/8 inch in diameter. It takes a standard 5/8 hitch pin. more

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler- Video

Today you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to walk you through the installation on the Draw-Tite class two trailer hitch and receiver on our 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler.Some of this hitch is noticeable on the back here but it's not so noticeable that it's taking away from the vehicle. The nice shape found here on this back plate it fits the contour with the bumper. So again it maintains a nice, clean look back on the back of the vehicle.This is going to be a class two hitch. So if you're one of those types of people that doesn't haul a lot of trailers, you do a lit of biking, maybe bike racks, cargo carriers, this hitch is going to be perfect for you. It's going to give us an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. more
